GROW Job Description: Teaching Assistant

The ESL Teaching Assistant at GROW is a volunteer position that asks for the following commitments:

1) To help students thrive in English

2) To follow the lead of the ESL instructor and actively engage in classroom activities

3) To find a substitute when necessary and communicate that with the program director

4) To attend scheduled staff meetings (very few)

5) To support the teaching of a short Bible verse/story as part of each class
